Air Source Heat Pumps
Even cold air is full of energy and our Air Source Heat Pumps use the freely available heat in the ambient air to provide efficient heating and hot water at air temperatures as low as -25oC. And because we have relatively mild winter temperatures in the UK the heat pump will run with excellent efficiency.
Air from outside is collected and pumped inside the house into a heat condensor. This heat is then used to heat your home, and your hot water, even running through your radiators to heat the house. The energy used to do this is around the same that is used for your fridge, so it has very low running costs.
The carbon emissions of our air source heat pumps are nearly 40% lower than a gas condensing boiler. Your main energy source, the air, is always available and inexhaustible and because of that you can be confident of heating your home at any time.
Relatively mild winter temperatures in the UK mean excellent levels of both efficiency and performance are achieved throughout the year. Our Nibe heat pumps can be used for a wide range of applications including heating, cooling, domestic hot water and swimming pools.
